Abstract

13 fire tests in redused scale compartment were conducted at SP, Borås , 2013-2014. Futher analysis of the experimental data (temperature and fire development) require some additional numerical calculations. The main puprose of this projectis is to do numerical analysis of experiments, to validate the experimental data. For this purpose the software Fire Dynamic Simulator will be used together with vizualization program to display he output Smokeview. Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) is a large-eddy simulation (LES) code for low-speed flows, with an emphasis on smoke and heat transport from fires.
