Abstract

The aim is to apply Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR)/Cas9 screening on both cell lines and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patient samples, to identify critical molecular regulators of tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) resistance for therapeutic targeting. Specifically we aim to: Perform a focused CRISPR/Cas9 screen to identify and target chromatin modifiers regulating the unique molecular programs responsible for leukemogenesis and TKI resistance in CML leukemic stem cells (LSCs).
