Abstract

Support for large-scale computing is being requested. In connection with two continuing grants (Norwegian Research Council and Wallenberg), as well as the still ongoing VR breakthrough research grant, we perform now work on a broader range of topics. Many of us use the Pencil Code (https://github.com/pencil-code), which is a sixth order finite difference code with a third order time stepping scheme. The code uses MPI and is running on a range of different platforms around the world and is designed to work on large clusters. It is in the public domain and developed by an increasing number of project participants. This work in connected with two PhD theses.
