Monte Carlo for urban water systems
The project is aimed at performing monte carlo simulations on urban wastewater system models. Monte carlo simulations are used for sensitivity and uncertainty analysis of the models. The research focuses on exploring various aspects of wastewater treatment models and other urban wastewater system models. Information obtained from the analysis will be used to improve model understanding and usage. Further, the models will be used to study various local and integrated control strategies to reduce pollution loads to river system/improve urban sewer and wastewater system performance etc.
