Abstract

The objective of this project is to assess different single-cell genome amplification technique to study genomic variation in the freshwater alga Gonyostomum semen. We have tested and optimized single cell-genome amplification methods and the RAD-Seq population genomic technique for use with G. semen. Based on cells from G. semen cultures we will now bioinformatically test the methods' robustness and accuracy.
