This project aims at continue analyses on the willow warbler genome with the goal to identify genes that code for variation of migration patterns (directions and distances). This time we attempt to improve the assembly by including PacBio, 10X and BioNano data and by getting a better annotation by using RNAseq. We will also investigate variation in other willow warblers by using whole-genome resequencing. This will be done with standard PE libraries but also with long MP libraries to account for larger structural variants. This data includes the planned new sequences and also old sequence libraries used in the former de novo assembly.
