Abstract

Archaeogenomic studies have largely elucidated the Stone Age human population history in West Eurasia. However, little is known about the population history in North Asia. In this project we will analyse genome sequences of ancient individuals from two geographical regions of North Asia extending from Southcentral Siberia to Russian Far East dated to between c.14,865 cal BCE and c.620 cal AD extending from the Paleolithic to the Medieval. We will study thedemographic dynamics during Holocene in North Asia by employing population genomics analyses of large genome sequence datasets.
