Abstract

I plan to model the colonization-extinction dynamics of multiple epiphytic forest species under alternative forest management scenarios created by the Heureka simulation software. The work consists of two phases: (a) parameterisation of study species' metapopulations dynamics based on empirical data, and (b) simulating their colonization-extinction dynamics on top of data on host tree coordinates, life spans and yearly parameters under multiple forest management scenarios.
