Abstract

To measure the impact of pharmaceutical compounds, the compounds' impact on cell growth can be estimated using phase contrast microscopy. Automation has enabled large-scale and real-time collection of microscopy data. This raises the need of automatic systems for localizing and counting cells. We are going to harness recent advances in deep learning to provide better models for automated analysis of microscopy images.
