Abstract

The project will examine the performance of three-dimensional inverse scattering algorithms for limited view data and investigate the potential of using inverse scattering in conjunction with iterative phase retrieval and holography for soft X-ray microscopy experiments. Due to the experimental setup limitations, the inverse scattering approach will use 1-5 sources and ~1E4 receivers. A variant of the hybrid input output (HIO) method will be employed for the phase retrieval while the adjoint field method is utilized for the 3D inverse scattering.
