Abstract

Disturbance waves in annular two-phase flow are crucial to the heat and mass transfer process. VOF is a promising approach to investigate such behaviors. According to our recent simulation, VOF is capable of qualitatively capturing the main features of disturbance waves. However, the mesh used was too coarse to accurately calculate wave parameters. Therefore, more resources are required to continue this research with a much finer mesh.
